World Polio Day – 10/24/22
Now is the time to finish Rotary’s mission to eradicate polio. Plan now to hold a club event to raise awareness and funds in your community. Together, we can imagine a world free of polio.

Rotary Club to Help Bring Ukrainian Grandmother to USA
The Rotary Club of Middlebury, VT, is working to reunite Diana Herasim, a 16-year-old Ukrainian exchange student at the local high school, with her grandmother and legal guardian, Zhanna Kurochkina, who remains in war-torn Ukraine.
Through the Uniting for Ukraine program, Zhanna can legally live in the U.S. for two years, so long as her sponsors cover all expenses, including airfare, lodging, food, and medical care. Rotary Club of Middlebury has budgeted $15,000 this year for those expenses, and will launch a fundraising campaign that involves the entire community in helping Diana and Zhanna reunite. The Uniting for Ukraine application is now pending.

Le Club Rotary va aider à amener une grand-mère ukrainienne aux États-Unis
Le Club de Middlebury, VT, s’efforce de réunir Diana Herasim, une étudiante d’échange ukrainienne de 16 ans de l’école secondaire locale, avec sa grand-mère et tutrice légale, Zhanna Kurochkina, qui reste dans une Ukraine déchirée par la guerre.
