Welcome to all of the incoming Club officers and committee members.

New this year: Send me your events happening in the next 6 weeks and I will publicize them in this District newsletter. Join in on the fun. Make it a family event.

The District is hosting a Lake Monsters Game on August 11^th. Tickets for the game are only $7.00 or you can have hot dogs and soda included for $12.43 or go for the BBQ (Cheeseburger setting) for $16.87. The two food options include the seat. I have reserved a full section for our members but we need to register early. Use the contact link on the poster (attached) OR on the District Website OR call Adam at 802-655-4200 and mention August 11^th Rotary. $2.50 from each ticket sale goes to the District, which will go to Polio Plus.

I have a list of potential “In-Meeting” Service projects on the District web site, under Membership. I encourage you to look and consider making the meetings a “Value”.

Addiction Prevention: I have some short films and information coming that focus on Addiction prevention and causes. We also have a group of clubs looking to design or use media to combat this issue. Let me know if your club wants to participate. Make a Difference!

Interested in applying to join the District Governor track?. All applications need to be submitted to Eric Denu by September 15^th. This position will follow Jamie Milne as District Governor in 2021 -2022. Seems like a long way away, but it sneaks up on you.

There is a “Club Officer” course in the Learning Center on My Rotary. Select your role (President, secretary, treasurer, committee chair) and see what course(s) are recommended for you.

RYLA raised $1434.00 towards Polio Plus. With the Gates match, this totals $4302. GO RYLA!

EVENTS: Rotary is Fun and can help support Family bonds.
