“On the road again…”  Yes, the GovMobile is ready to hit the road and bring me to your club meeting, project, or special event!  And I am so looking forward to connecting in-person with our 7850 Rotarians once again.  To say the least, finding our way out of all the challenges COVID brought us these past 18 months, and still presents to our communities, building out my travel calendar is a work-in-progress.  And, as I think we all know, things can change in a heartbeat.
From the Drummondville Clubs to our north to the Bristol and Wolfeboro Clubs to our south, I am grateful for the careful way Club Presidents are helping lead their clubs through this time of transition and do his/her best to balance everyone’s concerns and needs.  It may take us a while to find that right day and time for me to join with you, but we will get there!

In the meantime, Zoom continues to play an important role in keeping us connected and bring outstanding guest speakers to our clubs.  The Lincoln-Woodstock and Essex Rotary Clubs are doing just that in welcoming Chase Harr to their meetings.

For those of us who know about and support the work of our Rotary International partner, ShelterBox, you will want to hear from Chase about his “Second Summits: Climbing with a Cause” venture/fundraiser here in the Northeast.

And, finally, a word about this year’s RYLA.

I’m so grateful to Gloria Mampuya and Larry Vars and the Team that worked with them to put on a fabulous virtual RYLA at the end of June.   I thoroughly enjoyed watching our RYLArians tackle every task and learning opportunity with enthusiasm and creativity.  As Larry writes in the his follow-up article, this was our first, and hopefully last, virtual RYLA!

“All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go…”
In the meantime, let’s keep Serving to Change Lives!
