Shoutouts & Supporting Neighbors

It was a busy summer, with plenty of projects and events happening around the District, from the Champlain Valley Fair Rotary Corn Booth spearheaded by the Essex Rotary Club, running August 28-September 6, to the Lebanon Rotary Club's Brewfest on September 5 - stop by and support a neighboring club! Clubs are collaborating on events, meetings, milkweed plantings, and more. There were duck races up and down District 7850, from Newport to Vergennes and Mad River Valley to St. Albans.

Our clubs are making news and making a difference in their community, with live-saving AED and first aid supplies installed by the Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary Club with the support of a district grant. Most importantly, all of our amazing Rotarians continue to astound me with their accomplishments and contributions, both within their Rotary communities and beyond. If you see PDG Sonny Holt, be sure to congratulate him for his eight gold medals this past weekend at the NH Senior Games and previous seven from the VT Games - wow!

Wishing everyone a strong and successful finish to their summer events, and be sure to stop by and support your neighboring Rotary Clubs in their efforts!
Ariel
